Frequently asked questions
Ordering
Most of our pieces are made especially for you after you order. This lets us preserve their exclusivity, reduce waste and give each garment individual attention. The process takes a little longer than buying ready-made clothing.
The wait before dispatch includes the time needed to handcraft your piece to Daniel Baud’s standards. Allow up to 10 business days for production, followed by 3 business days for delivery within metropolitan France, excluding weekends and French national public holidays. For made-to-measure pieces, this period starts once measurements are confirmed.
“Limited edition” means we produce only a small number of that design, often 100 individually numbered pieces. A “capsule collection” is a special, often themed collection available for a limited time or in limited quantities. Both make your piece all the more exclusive.
Size and fit
The Size guide shows body measurements and size conversions. The Size & fit tab lists garment measurements when available. For made-to-measure, use the Enter my measurements form. We recommend comparing garment measurements with a similar piece you already own that fits well, or taking your body measurements.

Paiement
We accept credit cards through PayPal, as well as PayPal payments. All transactions are secured.
Payment is authorized when you place your order. The amount is captured only when the boutique approves and starts production, no earlier than 48 hours after purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email when production begins.
Yes. All transactions are processed through PayPal’s secure platform. We never store your full credit card details on our servers.
Shipping
Once your piece is made and dispatched, delivery usually takes 3 business days within metropolitan France, excluding weekends and French national public holidays. Times may differ for other destinations (see below).
We’ll email your tracking details as soon as your order ships.
Standard delivery is free with no minimum purchase within metropolitan France, including Corsica. Charges for other destinations are shown before you confirm payment.
Yes. We currently ship to China, South Korea, the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Delivery times and charges vary by destination country. They are calculated and shown during checkout, before payment.
Important: Customs duties, import taxes or other local charges may apply when your parcel arrives in a country outside the European Union. These charges are entirely your responsibility and are not included in your order total.
Cancellations and returns
Yes. Until production has been approved, you can cancel immediately at no charge, even after 48 hours. Production cannot be approved during the first 48 hours. After that, and before shipping, you can ask the boutique to cancel, with a full refund for the affected items and no flat-rate penalty. Use the button in your customer account.
Our standard-size garments come with a 14-day right of withdrawal, including preorders, made-to-order pieces and limited editions. The items concerned are refunded, subject to any substantiated loss in value caused by handling beyond normal fitting. Original standard shipping is included when withdrawing from the entire order. You bear the direct return costs if you change your mind. We will share our findings, the calculation of any loss in value and supporting evidence with you.
Read our Full Returns Policy for full details.
Contact us immediately using the contact form (contact@danielbaud.com) or your customer account. If the defect is confirmed, we will cover the return and offer a full refund, a repair or an exchange.
Sign in, go to “My Orders,” select the order and use the “Request a return” button. Follow the instructions. You can also contact us directly: contact@danielbaud.com.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of notification, using the original payment method. The refund may be withheld until we receive the goods or proof of their return shipment, whichever comes first.
Garment care
Each Daniel Baud piece is made from high-quality materials that need thoughtful care to preserve their beauty and longevity.
Always follow the care label sewn inside your garment for specific instructions.
For most pieces in fine materials such as wool, silk or leather, we generally recommend professional dry cleaning only. Avoid machine washing and tumble drying, which can permanently damage the fibers and the garment’s structure.
For specific care questions, please contact us: contact@danielbaud.com.
